Council Rock believes in giving back to the community. Each school year the Council Rock School District chooses a community charity to support and sponsor. Schools and students hold fundraisers, dress down / casual days, walks, coin collections, etc. in support of the charity. This is a way for our staff and students to be involved in our community of giving.
This year we are supporting the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission. Look for opportunities to donate blood at a drive held locally throughout the school year.
