Maizy Hollahan - Head Coach

Coach Maizy is a Special Education Teacher for the Council Rock School District A.C.H.I.E.V.E. Program.  Prior to this position, she spent 2.5 years as a teacher's assistant within CR South's Life Skills and Intensive Learning Support programs.  She holds a degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Clinical Health Psychology from Temple University. Maizy also has her Master's of Arts in K-12 Special Education from Liberty University. Maizy was an assistant coach of Unified Track and Field for the 2022 season with Council Rock South and is excited to help build Unified Sports Track and Field through Council Rock South moving forward!

Tony Checchia - Assistant Coach 

Coach Checchia currently teaches Social Studies at Council Rock's alternative school, Sloan.  Prior to this position, he spent 3.5 years as a teacher's assistant within CR South's Life Skills and Intensive Learning Support programs.  A graduate of CR South and Muhlenberg College, Coach Checchia has 10 years of high school football coaching experience, in addition to experience coaching softball and 4 years of coaching with CR South's Men's Track team. 

Julia Singer- Assistant Coach

This is Coach Jules' second year coaching Unified Track. When Coach Jules is not on the track, she coaches field hockey at Mystx FHC and Council Rock North. Jules earned her bachelor's degree in applied economics with a concentration in finance & accounting, and psychology at Ursinus College. She is also currently pursuing a master's degree in education at Gwynedd Mercy University. Go Hawks!! 

Katherine Callender- Assistant Coach 

Coach Katie has been a teaching assistant at Council Rock South for the last 2 years in the Intensive Learning Support and Life Skills Programs. Katie holds a degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Temple University's Fox School of Business and is currently pursuing a Master's in Special Education from Gwynedd Mercy University. This will be Katie's second year coaching Unified Track and Field and she also coaches North's Girl's Basketball in the Winter.
