Class of 2027: Senior Potraits!
Dear Upcoming Seniors & Families!!!
We wanted to clarify an important update to the senior portrait process for the Class of 2027. Portrait sessions will no longer be held at the school for the summer. While this may have been the process in previous years, the new photography company CADY has transitioned all sessions to their studio location in Horsham (or in Exton).
Appointments
The Horsham Studio is currently booking appointments for June, with appointments available 6 days a week (closed on Mondays). The aim of studio over campus sessions is to offer 100+ days parents can choose from instead of being forced into attending the 5 designated days over the summer like previous yers.
Booking opens based on occupancy: as June begins to fill, July availability will open, as July books - August will open etc.
As per the CR Cady Representative, it is "confirmed that if it [school studio session] proves necessary (based on participation throughout the summer), we will schedule a day at each building to capture the students who were unable to make a studio visit. These dates would not be advertised until the end of summer/start of school. The message at this point is to still book at the studio."
We wanted to pass this information along to help answer some of the questions families have had regarding scheduling and availability.
Portraits Outside of CADY
This photography company is a school board-approved vendor, and as part of the district-approved process, we are obligated to use their services for official yearbook senior portraits. Using the approved vendor also allows the yearbook staff easier access to portraits, updates, corrections, and any necessary changes throughout the production process. Please note that portraits taken through outside photography companies are not guaranteed to appear in the yearbook to maintain consistency throughout the yearbook. Using the approved school vendor, also, gives the yearbook staff direct access to the portrait portal, making it much easier to quickly select photos, make small corrections or updates, and ensure portraits are properly formatted for publication in the yearbook by certain deadlines.
Portrait Packages
When families click this link and select CR South, students can personalize their senior portrait experience by choosing from a variety of sessions and package options (see the comparison chart below).
Please note that all package options include the required yearbook portrait for the 2026–2027 yearbook (including the $0 session! AT THE VERY BOTTOM) There is no additional charge for these essentials. This includes:
• The traditional tux/drape pose (will be in the senior section listing students of the entire class).
• A cap-and-gown second pose (this pose will be randomly placed in the yearbook - possibly for senior quotes, college/sports commitments, interviews, baby photos section to show before/after of friendships).
Deadline for Senior Portraits
October 16, 2026 (same day as school Re-Takes)
Extension will possibly be granted depending on the number of students remaining (last year: extended until mid-November)
Our goal is to ensure that every senior is consistently represented in the yearbook while still allowing students to personalize their portrait experience.
