Science Fair
Overview
Science Fairs at South promote interest in and appreciation of the scientific method. It gives students the opportunities to develop scientific ideas from classroom content or other areas, participate in extracurricular self-directed science endeavors, and establish financial/academic recognition. Members will design their own experiments, record and analyze results, and present their projects at local and regional science competitions.
South participates in two local science fairs. They are the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science, and the Bucks County Science Research Competition. Both fairs involve students from all over Bucks County, and both have opportunities for successful student scientists to compete at regional, state, or even international levels!
