Credit Opportunities

  2018-2019 Credit Opportunities   Credit opportunities will be announced at meetings, posted in the Facebook group, and comunicated via email. A member must obtain 15 credits over the course of the year in order to remain in the honor society, and a senior member must obtain 13 credits to receive a cord. Any earned credits, with a maximum of 5, over the required amount will roll over into the next year. There are plenty of opportunities for all students to attain this goal as long as you are proactive!     *Dates and/or credit values are to be determined and will be updated ASAP* Marking Period 1:

• *General Membership meeting - 0.5
• *Newtown Rita's Night - 1.0 + 0.5 for every nonmember friend or family member you bring; take a picture with your Rita's, whomever you bring, and someone working there that night and email the picture to an officer to receive credits
• *Fall Festival - ; bring in table items or work the table
• *AIDS Awareness Walk (10/21 6:45am-12:00pm) - ; register at http://www.aidswalkphilly.org/login as Team #0375 Council rock, please arrive to school no later than 6:45am to be bussed to the walk. You may donate online or bring money with you to the walk. Team t-shirts are an additional $5 (purchase is optional). Must register by Tuesday 10/16
• Election Day Volunteer Work (11/6) - 1 per hour, max. 5; you must be at leat 17 years old to participate; you can receive credits and get paid
• Winter Ball set up (11/10) - 1 per hour; after school
• *Wrightstown Food Bank Food Drive - ; bring in non-perishables an drop them in the box in your homeroom

Marking Period 2:

• Midterm Tutoring - 
• Toys for Tots - ; CHOP toy drive; bring in toys on the list to receive credit
