Overview

  The Council Rock High School South chapter of the Latin Honor Society was established during the 2003-2004 school year. It is sponsored by the National Junior Classical League.   There are monthly meetings during the school year and there is a service component to membership.     Students are invited to apply during their third semester of Latin.  

Eligibility requirements:

A average in Latin Demonstration of good citizenship Membership in the National Junior Classical League   The induction ceremony takes place in the Spring.  Details will follow.   

Activities include:

• Fall Festival with the Latin Club
• Holiday gift wrapping for charity
• Presentations at local elementary schools to promote the study of foreign languages
• Induction ceremony and celebration
