BCMEA County Chorus

Grade 9-12

County Chorus is an Auditioned Group of 9th through 12th grade students encompassing the public and private schools in Bucks County. In the past, the group has been no more than 100 students, but that may change due to the host school’s size. Pre-auditions are on 10/3 @ 2:30. Main auditions are on 11/13 after school. If you audition and make it, you will participate in a 3-day festival 3/19-3/21. You will miss some school and you will be able to perform for your friends and family at the conclusion of the festival. County Chorus is sponsored by the Bucks County Music Educator's Association (BCMEA)

PMEA District 11 Chorus

Grades 10-12

No, this is not the Elementary District Chorus you may have participated in when you were a wee one!  This auditioned group consists of the top singers in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.  This choir is a bit different than BCMEA Counties, because it enables students to further their musical achievement by auditioning for Regional Chorus, and eventually All-State chorus!  Pre-auditions are on 10/3 @ 2:30. Main auditions are on Saturday, 11/23. Like County Chorus, District Chorus is also a 3-day festival (3/16-3/18), but this festival requires students to stay overnight. You will miss two days of school. The festival concludes with a concert on the Saturday of the festival for your family and friends.  Auditions for this choir take place in the fall.  Be sure to check the calendar for the upcoming audition.
